Planned Parenthood Debacle: Reproductive Rights and Stem Cell Research

A right-wing, anti-abortion group recently released undercover videos of medical professionals at Planned Parenthood discussing the sale of fetal body parts after abortions. The women’s group claims that their representatives were engaging in the legal practice of collecting fetal tissue to be donated for medical research with a patient’s consent. However, a group of outraged conservatives are demanding that Planned Parenthood lose its federal funding.

We discussed the attack on Planned Parenthood, fetal cell research, and the abortion debate.
